Our state-of-the-art laser treatments offer a wide range of dermatologic treatments for your skin. The use of lasers in dermatology has increased significantly due to many innovations in technology that allow different lasers to perform different tasks. Lasers can improve many skin lesions, sometimes dramatically. Certain lasers require several treatments to achieve best results, while others may require fewer. Some lasers have minimal recovery time, while others may require more healing time. It is important to discuss the specifics of the condition you wish to treat and the type of laser indicated for this purpose.

Our dermatology laser treatments are administered by Dermatology Skin Care Specialists who are professionally trained on each laser treatment we offer. Most importantly they are trained and supervised by a Board-Certified Dermatologist. We don’t believe that lasers should be operated by anyone without a board-certified dermatologists’ or plastic surgeons’ supervision. Laser treatment times and prices vary according to the area treated. Click on the link below for more information.

Remarkable results you can see and feel
Fraxel re:store™ laser treatment is a revolutionary new way to correct aged and damaged skin – without the prolonged downtime or adverse reactions of other resurfacing procedures. Safe and effective, the Fraxel re:store™ laser is cleared by the FDA and has undergone extensive testing in the lab and out in the field.

Fraxel re:store™ treatment is the accepted gold standard for treating these conditions:

Acne scars • Periorbital wrinkles • Mask of pregnancy/hormonal pigmentation • Irregular texture • Sun spots and age spots (pigmented lesions) • Aging skin • Sun damaged skin • Enlarged pores • Fine lines & wrinkles, especially around the mouth & eyes

How it works
With Fraxel re:store™ treatment, you get dramatic results without going under the knife. Instead, Fraxel re:store™ laser treatment uses points of light to precisely treat thousands of microscopic areas of your skin. The treatment penetrates deep into the skin to remove old, damaged skin cells, stimulates your body’s own natural healing process, and replaces the cells with fresh, glowing, healthy skin. Because the technology is so precise, Fraxel re:store™ treatment works not only on the face, but also on delicate skin areas like the neck, chest and hands.

With the revolutionary Fraxel re:store™ laser treatment, you see a reduction in fine lines, wrinkles, age and sun spots, acne scarring, surgical scars, stretch marks, and melasma. All in a series of treatments with minimal downtime or discomfort.

The number of treatments you will need depends on your goals and desired outcomes as well as your lifestyle. We will work with you to weigh the aggressiveness of treatment with the downtime associated. Typically, patients receive their desired outcomes in 3-6 treatments.

Fraxel treatment can be tailored to your desired outcome. Depending on the aggressiveness of the treatment, you may experience redness or swelling after the procedure which diminishes as quickly as the next day or over the next several days. We’ll work with you to determine the best option to fit your lifestyle.

During your free initial consultation, our laser technicians will evaluate your unique needs and explain the procedure in detail. You will have the opportunity to view before and after photos to ensure that you will know what to expect from the treatment. After your treatment our staff will instruct you on the best techniques to care for your skin to maintain your healthy new look.

Introducing the V-Beam Perfecta – the industry’s gold standard for treating redness with little or no bruising. Our new Perfecta is fast, visibly effective, and comfortable.

The V-Beam laser is a pulsed dye laser used to treat conditions such as rosacea, facial or nasal veins, leg veins, birthmarks, port wine stains, redness in scars, or any other condition with blood/redness as the primary target.

The light is absorbed by the blood vessels in your dermis. The destroyed vessels are then reabsorbed by the body during the natural healing process.

Side effects from this treatment may include bruising, redness, and swelling in the treated area. These should not last for more than several days. We recommend a minimum of 3 treatments for you to receive optimal results.

Yag Tattoo Removal

Tattoo removal has evolved to the point that only one laser is required to remove all ink-colors. Aesthetics Clinic has the newest and most effective technology used today for laser removal. The laser removes tattoo ink using the energy of light. Our Lutronic Spectra™ laser removes inks by generating a variety of specific wavelengths of light that target different ink colors. Light passes into the skin and is absorbed by the ink. The rapid absorption of light energy causes the tattoo ink to break into tiny particles, which can then be removed by the body’s natural filtering systems. The laser can remove professional and amateur tattoos, and permanent cosmetic makeup.

On the average, professional tattoos require 6-8 treatments, while amateur tattoos require 4-5 treatments, all spaced approximately 6-8 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on the amount, type, and color of ink used, and the depth of the ink in the skin.

Pain management during treatment:

Laser tattoo removal can be uncomfortable, but is tolerable in most cases. Clients report a sensation from the light-pulsed energy that is similar to the snap of a small rubber band. While many patients forego anesthesia altogether, some patients require a local anesthesia. Depending on the patient’s pain threshold, pre-treatment might include the application of an anesthetic cream 45 to 90 minutes prior to the laser treatment session. In very rare cases, if complete anesthesia is necessary, it can be administered locally by injections of lidocaine with epinephrine. Anecdotal reports, however, have noted that patients receiving anesthesia by local injection may require additional treatment as the injection causes mechanical edema, a spreading out of the tattoo ink. This makes it more difficult for the laser light to act on specific ink particles, so experts in the laser tattoo removal field caution against injecting anesthetic, as these injections may also increase the risk of scarring and/or additional treatment.

Following the treatment, the tattoo’s appearance may fade more than 96%, often erasing it completely. Results vary depending on the type of ink used in the tattoo, the depth of its application and the color. See before and after photos of Lutronic Spectra laser tattoo removal treatments.

Black and red inks respond most favorably to the treatment. Oranges and purples usually fade as well. Green, blue and turquoise inks are the most challenging to remove and additional treatments are needed to produce significant fading.

The laser provides maximum tattoo removal while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. Occasionally, pinpoint bleeding may be associated with the treatment. Patients must be careful about sun exposure prior to, during, and after laser treatments due to risk of hypopigmentation (lightening) of the treated area. The cost of treatment varies according to the size of the area to be treated and will be determined by a laser technician during your complimentary consultation. Package pricing available: Save 15% on a package of 3 treatments; save 25% on a package of 6 or more treatments.

Spectra Yag Age Spot Removal (lentigos)

For this treatment we use the Lutronic Spectra Nd:Yag Laser. The light from the laser is absorbed by the pigmented lesion, and the unwanted pigment is then destroyed. This will either remove or lighten the lesion.

During the treatment, you may feel some heat and a stinging or a prickling sensation. When treating larger areas such as the face, a topical numbing cream is used to lessen the discomfort of the procedure. The spot(s) will become darker over the next couple of days and it will take an average of 10-14 days for spots to slough off. You can do everything that you would normally do, however the first few days, do not scrub or pick at the lesions. It is important not to pick at them because it will not allow the lesions to heal properly and will increase the risk of scarring. You absolutely must wear a good sunblock while allowing the entire sloughing process.

One or two treatments is usually enough to treat most lesions, but some deeper lesions may require more treatments. This procedure does not work for melasma and cannot be performed on tanned or colored skin.

  • 1-10 spots $150
  • 11-20 spots $225
  • 21-50 spots $350
  • 51-100 spots $500
  • Full Face $750

GentleLASE is a laser hair removal technology offering safe, effective and permanent hair reduction. GentleLASE uses advanced, “gentle” laser technology, eliminating the pain and inconvenience of shaving, tweezing, or waxing unwanted hair. Laser treatments – even of large areas such as the legs, back, or chest – take a fraction of the time of other hair removal methods.

GentleLASE lasers have the patented Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD™) that sprays the upper layers of skin with a fine mist of cryogen prior to each laser pulse. This cooling technology minimizes pain, protects the top layer of skin, and enables the laser energy to gently reach and treat hair follicles.

This treatment works best on dark colored hair. It is ineffective on blonde, red or gray hair, and we are unable to laser tan or dark-colored skin.

Sun exposure, tanning beds, and sunless tanners will increase risk of hypopigmentation and should be avoided 4-6 weeks before and after treatment.  Furthermore, using indoor tanning beds before age 35 can increase your risk of melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, by 59 percent; the risk increases with each use. The average number of treatments needed is between 6 and 8, with a minimum of 4 weeks in between treatments. Call for pricing for specific areas. Package pricing available: Save 15% on a package of 3 treatments; save 25% on a package of 6 or more treatments.
